Apple Pie Rules Entertainment Schedule Crafters at the Show


The 27th Annual Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show will be coming up Columbus Day Weekend, October 10 & 11, 2009 at Riverside Middle School in Springfield, Vermont. It's a fall tradition and was honored as a 2007 Top Ten Fall Event in the state by the Vermont Chamber!
  
The Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show is a celebration of the fall harvest, with over 50 crafters, live entertainment, agriculture and activities for the whole family, and, of course, Apples! Wellwood Orchards is the Official Orchard of the Vermont Apple Festival.

We always feature live regional musicians as well as special Featured Performers. On our main stage in the Gymnasium, Alli Lubin will host a great selection of live music all weekend.Click on the Entertainment Schedule link at the top of the page for the complete lineup as well as more information on the performers.
  
There are always activities for the whole family, with our animal exhibit area, wagon rides, hand-pressed apple cider, kiddie games, pumpkin painting, and great food too.
  
  
On Sunday, there's the annual Apple Pie contest! As always, there will be two categories for Best Pies, Traditional & Non-Traditional. Pies need to be in by 10:30 am on Sunday and the Contest will take place at Noon! See the RULES link at the top of the page for our Apple Pie contest!
  
The 27th Annual Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 10 am - 4 pm and Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 10 am - 4 pm. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and students, under 5 free.
  
HOW TO GET HERE! All roads lead to the Vermont Apple Festival! FROM I-91 - Take Exit 7 and follow Route 11 West. The Apple Festival will be on your right-hand side just after McDonalds. FROM LUDLOW AREA - Take Rt. 103 South to Rt. 10. Follow Rt. 10 and stay straight when it becomes Rt. 106 in North Springfield. Continue on Rt. 106 to the intersection with Rt. 11. Take a right on Rt. 11 West. The Apple Festival will be on your right-hand side shortly after McDonalds. FROM CHESTER AREA - Take Rt. 11 East app. 9 miles. The Apple Festival will be on your left just before McDonalds and the Plaza. FROM WOODSTOCK AREA - Take Rt. 106 South to North Springfield and continue to the intersection with Rt. 11. Take a right on Rt. 11 West. The Apple Festival will be on your right-hand side shortly after McDonalds.
