The Community Club of Springfield, Vermont.

"The Community Club of Springfield, Vermont, took shape in the minds of the Manufacturers' Association in the early spring of 1919. Sufficient opportunities for social intercourse and indoor recreation seemed to be lacking in the town, and it was decided to convert a large machine-shop building, then vacant, into an up-to-date club-house for men and women. Plans were immediately drawn, and the remodeling was started in March."
