Replacing Linear Actuators Without Redesigning the System

One of the actuators in my setup has reached the end of its service life, and I need a replacement. My main concern is avoiding changes to the existing mechanical design. The system works well, so I only want to swap the faulty component. Matching stroke and force is one thing, but overall behavior matters too. I want the new actuator to integrate smoothly. Searching catalogs manually feels inefficient. Is there a smarter way to handle this?

I had success using https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/pages/replacement-chart replacing linear actuators guidance tools. They focus specifically on finding suitable replacements rather than new designs. This helped keep the original system unchanged. Seeing whether an exact or close replacement existed made planning easier. It reduced installation surprises. For me, this approach minimized downtime.
