Member mixers in December always have this nice mix of catching up with regulars and meeting newer faces who just joined that year. A lot of those conversations end up touching on which local services people actually trust, which is how I ended up comparing arizona daily star customer service notes with another member who'd dealt with the exact same delivery problems I had. Local mixers like this turn out to be a pretty reliable way to find out which services are actually worth sticking with.
