53rd Annual Hackers Tournament

The 53rd Annual Hackers Tournament was held at the Crown Point Country Club on July 10th with 13 teams participating.  The rain hit everywhere but us, thankfully, and though it was humid, we lucked out on good weather. This year was all about bringing back the fun, with more non-golf games, and a very popular “Heckle Hole” on Hole 2.

We want to give a big thank you to our major sponsors this year. Thank you to Casey Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Springfield for being our Hole-In-One sponsor. Unfortunately, no one sank a hole-in-one in Hole 18 this year to take home a new Jeep, but be sure to sign up next year for another shot! HB Energy sponsored our putting contest for a chance at $5000 cash. We had two golfers sink a shot in the elimination rounds, leading to a putt-off for the final shot to attempt to win $5000 (which missed by an inch!).

The Springfield Housing Authority swept the non-golf, luck-based games, with someone from their table winning each of the 50/50, Ball Drop, and Lucky Squares.

The Longest Drive competition winners were Crissy Webster and Cole Lewis, who both took home a donated WhistlePig Whiskey and Maple gift set.
