We’re reaching out to let you know that the Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with area merchants, is launching the third annual Springfield Holiday Local Loyalty Program this November! The program is a chance to unite with other businesses to cooperatively cross-promote the wonderful products and services available in the Springfield region, and encourage shoppers to keep their dollars local this holiday season.
The program will kick off on “Plaid Friday” (November 27th - aka: “Black Friday”) and will run through December 31st. Each participating business will feature their own raffle prize, as a way of enticing visitors to get involved. Local Loyalty Cards will be provided to participating businesses for distribution to shoppers, along with a unique stamp for marking amounts spent, and posters and fact sheets to help spread the word. The stamp cards will be available and valid at all participating businesses, so the more money folks spend in local establishments, the more chances they’ll have to enter the raffles. Shoppers will receive one stamp for every $5 or $10 spent, and once they fill a $100 card, they can enter it into the raffle of their choice. On January 4th, each business will draw a raffle winner, and the prizes will be awarded accordingly.
The Chamber will be promoting the program via website, emails, social media posts, Facebook event, newspapers, etc. All participating businesses are encouraged to also help spread the word. The Local Loyalty program is a fantastic and valuable opportunity! The cost to participate is $30 for Chamber Members and $60 for non-members. This initiative is a great way to attract an increase in revenue around the holidays, and also a fun way to collaborate with other local businesses - a rising tide floats all boats!
